Some excellent carpentry work, fitting a new wooden table surface in my en-suite bathroom.

Just had kitchen hall way redecorated by spear construction , replaced skirtings , radiators ,And layed new laminate flooring in hallway , absolutely fab workmanship ,Dave was a very tidy worker and very knowledgeable in all aspects of the refurb very polite , very happy with there work and will definitely use them again for future works ,also well competitively priced and would definitely recommend.

Just had work completed by Spear (3 days work comprising of kitchen worktops, fitting shower screen, various carpentry items, external cill restoration and mastic work) this is the 3rd time I have used them and can’t fault any aspect of the service or workmanship – everything has been done to a very high standard, clean & tidy and professional, will definitely use again.

David was professional and communicated very well. We had a water leak in the bathroom that spoiled the floor and wall and he has done an excellent job – replacing tiles, the rotten plaster board, etc. He was also able to get it done at short notice without compromising on the quality of the work. The finished product is excellent and he was willing to go the extra mile to ensure the colours matched with our existing flooring. Would recommend and rate 5 stars.

Dave and the team have performed two projects for us now. One being a skirting and architrave replacement, second being a stairs improvement project. David arrived punctually and rapidly diagnosed the problem with my guttering that had baffled three other builders. Two days later a couple of polite and courteous scaffolders came and swiftly erected scaffolding and David arrived next morning and removed the old gutters, replacing them with a deeper and different design in a few hours. Thunderstorms the next day proved the effectiveness of the work and the scaffolding was removed the following day. David was polite, friendly and professional and left no mess behind. I would recommend him to anyone who needs work doing, especially on period property.

Spear is a very professional and experienced company. There range is something I can only describe as unique and universal. I have used Spear on all of my home design, starting with my kitchen to eventually the entire house. Highly recommend! Dave came recommended and did not disappoint. We had our ikea pax wardrobes scribed in to look fitted and to box in the boiler in the bedrooms and some work fitting our door handles. The work was done to an excellent standard and a great price.
